What’s New on the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S
The Sportster® S is a new model that debuted last model year. Harley-Davidson® has made some small tweaks and changed up the color selection, but this model otherwise remains the same. The biggest news for the Sport family is the introduction of the new Nightster® Special.
Key Features
A key aspect of the Sportster® S engineering is that the engine is a structural component of the chassis thereby eliminating the need for a traditional frame. This design choice significantly reduces weight and improves handling.
Engine — Mechanical
All Sportster® S models available to our customers in and near Wesley Chapel Tampa St. Petersburg Clearwater has the Revolution® Max 1250T engine. This is a liquid-cooled powertrain, and the T refers to specific tuning that provides torque throughout the powerband.
Performance
All advanced rider assists available for this model are included standard. These include an antilock braking system, traction control system and wheel lift mitigation but also cornering-enhanced versions of these technologies along with drag-torque slip control.

The 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S is designed with a dark finish that is consistent across all models and features bronze-look accents on the engine and aluminum-look accents along the exhaust. Your choice of cover mainly affects the fuel tank and the seating support. Vivid Black is the standard color option included in the MSRP. White Sand Pearl returns from last year as a premium option that requires a small extra fee, and Gray Haze and Bright Billiard Blue are the new color options.
