Road Glide®

The Road Glide® continues to be one of the most popular touring motorcycles in the Harley-Davidson® lineup, and many enthusiasts consider it to be the greatest tourer ever made. A defining characteristic of the Road Glide® and what separates it from the Street Glide® is its shark-nosed fairing, which is a type of frame-mounted fairing as opposed to a fork-mounted fairing like the batwing. The Road Glide® is so popular that the brand offers it in a series of variants. The base Road Glide® is a stripped-down tourer. The Road Glide® Special sticks to the same formula but adds high-end extras and offers a darker aesthetic. The Road Glide® Limited is configured for the rider who wants a more fully dressed experienced, and there are also CVO™ editions of both the standard Road Glide® and Road Glide® Limited.

CVO™ Road Glide®

CVO™ stands for Custom Vehicle Operations. It’s a division within Harley-Davidson® that takes popular motorcycles in the brand’s lineup and reimagines them as custom motorcycles that are available direct from the factory, such as the 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® available at Harley-Davidson® of Wesley Chapel. These models are limited and exclusive to the model year in which they’re introduced. They also boast special aesthetics that are available for that one year early. The goal is to stick to the spirit of the base bike but deliver the custom look and feel that many riders want.

What’s New for the CVO™ Road Glide® in 2023

A lot is new for the 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® now available through our H-D® dealership serving Lutz Tampa St. Petersburg Wesley Chapel. Some of these updates reflect changes made to the underlying model, such as the restyled fairing, the redesigned front end and the new and higher-grade Showa components for the front and rear suspensions. Others are specific to the CVO™ Road Glide®, such as the new Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 121 engine and 12.3-inch infotainment touch screen.

Performance & Ride Characteristics

The 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® near Tampa is now powered by the Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 121 engine, which supplants the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 as the most powerful liquid-cooled engine in the lineup. This model comes standard with two-up riding, heated grips, a windshield, a state-of-the-art infotainment system, premium audio and stretched saddlebags. It’s stripped down in the sense that it doesn’t feature the touring pack, backrests and luggage carrier.

Customizing Your CVO™ Road Glide®

The only choice that you have to make for your 2023 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® when you purchase it through Harley-Davidson® of Wesley Chapel is the design you want. The standard option is Dark Platinum, which is a dark gray paired with a dark metallic finish. The premium option is Whiskey Neat with Raven Metallic, and it has the more traditional chrome aesthetic.
