Chassis and Mechanical
When it comes to the drivetrain, the two bikes include the same gears with the same ratios. The front fork on the Street Bob® offers a dual-bending valve 49mm telescopic with aluminum fork triple clamps. The Fat Bon offers a single-cartridge 43mm inverted front fork with aluminum fork triple clamps. The rear shocks use hidden, free-piston, coil-over mono shocks that offer a 43mm stroke on the Street Bob® and 56mm on the Fat Bob®. You'll also get different wheels. Both bikes use a Milwaukee-Eight® 114 engine with a 4.016-inch bore and 4.5-inch stroke. You'll also get 114 cubic inches of displacement on both bikes. The compression and fuel system are also the same. One difference is the exhaust system. The Street Bob® uses a 2-into-2 offset shotgun exhaust while the Fat Bob® uses a 2-into-2 shorty dual exhaust system.
