Road Glide®

The Road Glide® likely needs no introduction. It’s arguably the most iconic Harley-Davidson® in production. It is the best-selling model, and many consider it the benchmark for long-distance touring motorcycles. This is a bike designed to chew up miles and to keep you comfortable and in control for hours on end. Some of the defining characteristics of the Road Glide® include a frame-mounted fairing and a hand-adjustable suspension that sits a bit lower than most of the tourers in the H-D® lineup.

CVO™ Road Glide®

The Road Glide® is so popular and caters to such a broad base that Harley-Davidson® offers it in a number of variants to appeal to different riders. Among the most premium of those variants is the 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide®. The CVO™ models are available in various design packages that feature a unique aesthetic and an array of equipment upgrades. Another big difference is the engine. The standard Road Glide® has the Milwaukee-Eight® 107 V-Twin whereas the CVO™ model has the 117, which is significantly more powerful and the biggest engine that H-D® currently offers with its tourers.

Updates for the 2022 Model Year

With the CVO™ models, the available designs change from year to year, so the three options for 2022 are exclusive to this model year. The CVO™ Road Glide® also now features electronic linked braking with ABS, which is a change that Harley-Davidson® has made across its touring lineup for 2022.

This Is the Right Bike For

The 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® is a great option for any rider who loves the Road Glide® but wants the most performance available and wants the custom factory look along with all the equipment upgrades that come with that. In addition to the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 engine, notable characteristic includes a frame-mounted fairing, upright rider positioning, a passenger seat, floorboards, saddlebags and an infotainment system.

Design Options

Harley-Davidson® is offering three design options for the 2022 model. There are two standard options— Blue Steel and Envious Green Fade—and one premium option: Wicked Orange Pearl. Blue Steel has a dark blue aesthetic with chrome. Envious Green Fade has a dark green aesthetic and is blacked out, Wicked Orange Pearl features a traditional chrome look with black and orange coloring. Note that the equipment loadout does vary slightly between the three styles.

Other Customization Options

While the 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® certainly rolls offer the production line loaded and tricked out, there is still plenty of room for customization. One of the most popular upgrades is to add a touring pack with a paint scheme that matches your chosen design.
