Performance
These sport bikes produce unique experiences on the road thanks to notable differences in engineering. The 2023 Harley-Davidson® Nightster® receives 90 horsepower from its Revolution® Max 975T engine. The motorcycle’s responsive, agile performance is supported by a premium braking system, rear coil springs, fork-mounted triple clamps and a direct-acting, dual-outboard rear suspension. There are also several riding enhancements, including anti-lock brakes, drag-torque slip control and traction control.
The 2023 Sportster® S, on the other hand, gets 121 horsepower from its Revolution® Max 1250T powertrain. The Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S’s mechanical equipment includes an adjustable and hydraulic spring pre-load, a linkage-mounted mono-shock and triple clamps on the fork. This sport bike has all of the standard rider enhancements as are available with the Nightster®, and it also comes with a tire pressure monitor, several cornering enhancements and lift mitigation.
Appearance
You can easily tell apart the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Nightster® vs 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S with their standout looks. The 2023 Harley-Davidson® Nightster® is appropriately named with black trim and your choice of Vivid Black or Redline Red body colors. The low-profile fenders pair with black wheels and an angled turning fork. The circular turning signals and headlight have a gray tint. This model is also designed with low-placed handlebars and an extended fuel tank, which put the rider in an aggressive, forward-leaning stance. This model also has a two-in-one exhaust pipe and gray accents on the engine casing.
The 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S is designed with black trim, and it is available with four body colors. While it has a chopped front fender like the Nightster®, the Sportster® S’s tires are thicker for an aggressive look. Rather than having a rear fender, the bike has a wing-like tail. This model is also differentiated by both chrome and bronze trim on the exhaust pipes and bronze trim on the engine cover. Additional traits are the elongated headlight, the dual-tone fuel tank and the smaller seat.
Features
Regardless of your selection of the 2023 Nightster® or the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S, your bike will have a 4-inch display screen that features an LCD screen. Without a wind deflector or fairing, these motorcycles are designed to deliver adrenaline over the miles. The display screen on both models gives you information from the odometer, speedometer, ride mode selection, fuel range and clock. Both models also have analog readouts for the temperature, battery status and tire pressure. If you choose the 2023 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® S, your motorcycle will also come with voice recognition, a TIP alert, Bluetooth and a headset.
